Cassidy Fritts uses surrealism and realism, often a combination of the subject matter of portraits, the human figure, and text, to discuss and analyze personal identity, mental health, introspection, and interpersonal connections. Fritts sees these topics as important and necessary to publicly discuss as she believes they have direct ties to how individuals exist within and create community. She received her BFA in Painting from the University of the Incarnate Word and has exhibited work throughout Texas in solo and group exhibits. She has created public and private artwork and murals throughout Texas for public art events, small businesses, and larger companies. She continues to amplify support of creative youth and community development via professional positions, arts education workshops, and community work.
